The Tasmanian Office of Equal Opportunity has commenced legal proceedings under the Anti-Discrimination act against the State Cinema for our practice of allowing free admission for carers during weekdays and not on weekends.

It is with great regret that we can no longer continue this very popular and worthy practice.

Please direct any questions or correspondence relating to this matter to the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, Sarah Bolt.
